Job summary

Eagle Fire Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. The role includes inspections, service work, and small construction projects, with an initial emphasis on inspections and a path to handling service calls and upfits as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fire protection, strong NFPA knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. NICET is preferred but not required; travel to sites is required and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of fire sprinkler inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards.
• Ability to travel to customer and construction sites.
• NICET certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, routine inspections of systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work driven by service calls or inspection deficiencies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, local codes, manufacturer requirements, and company policies.
• Identify material shortages or installation issues and communicate with supervisors.
• Coordinate work to minimize disruption to customer operations and project schedules.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Document work and inspections performed and communicate project updates.
• Participate in continuing education and certification training as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and address unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
