Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Duluth, GA is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to test and inspect water-based systems, read blueprints, and write detailed reports. Requires 2–3 years of inspection experience with NFPA familiarity and NICET II/III certification preferred; Backflow certification is a plus.

Position is based in Duluth, GA with on-site requirements. Pre-employment checks and overtime/weekend work may be involved. Microsoft Office skills are expected for documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems.
• NFPA codes knowledge and standards understanding.
• NICET II or III certification preferred.
• Backflow certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventative maintenance of water-based sprinkler systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications and fire codes.
• Conduct system tests for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment.
• Complete service documentation detailing findings.
• Coordinate inspection deficiencies with service to correct findings.
• Communicate with Service Manager on delays and status to meet scope.
