Job summary

1st FP Lubbock, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform testing and inspection of fire sprinkler systems, identify deficiencies, troubleshoot existing conditions, read blueprints, and write detailed reports regarding inspection findings.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, blueprints reading, pressure testing, documenting findings, and coordinating repairs while communicating with the Branch Manager to ensure work meets the proposed scope.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards for inspection testing and installation.
• RME-I license required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing servicing, installing and preventative maintenance with water-based systems and/or sprinkler systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications and fire codes.
• Perform system tests for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment.
• Complete service documentation detailing findings as needed.
• Able to coordinate between inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies.
• Communicate with Branch Manager on inspection or project delays, requirements, and general status of job to ensure that the customer receives the work per proposed scope.
