Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Inspector responsible for inspection/test of fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and related equipment in Lake Charles, LA.

The role involves routine testing, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and backflow testing, with emphasis on safety and code compliance. Qualifications include 3–5 years of experience, NICET II, Backflow Certification, and a valid Fire Sprinkler Inspector license.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspections.
• Licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector - Florida.
• NICET Level II Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Certified.
• Backflow Testing Certified.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment.
• Experience with both wet and dry sprinkler systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work with computers, cloud-based service management systems, building reports.

Responsibilities

• Annual, quarterly, 3 year and 5 year fire sprinkler inspections.
• Inspection of fire pumps, stand pipes, and all associated fire sprinkler system equipment.
• Performing regular maintenance of existing systems.
• Troubleshooting and repairing issues with sprinkler systems.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fire codes.
