Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to support a diverse service portfolio and meet customer needs. You will build relationships with current customers and proactively create new ones, promoting all of our fire protection services.

We require a Texas RME-I license and experience with wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, backflow, and fire pumps. Proficiency in NFPA 13, 20, and 24, and the ability to train others and fit pipes.

Qualifications

• Texas RME-I license required.
• Knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge systems, backflow, and fire pumps; able to troubleshoot.
• Proficient in NFPA 13, 20 & 24 code requirements.
• Able to operate a basic service platform and fit pipe safely.
• Experience training others and 2+ years in sprinkler service/inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform sprinkler inspections and routine service.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems.
• Train teammates in the correct use of trade tools.

We are looking for a fire sprinkler technician with an RME-I to perform Sprinkler Inspections.

Requirements

• Must have a Texas RME-I License
• Working knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action systems and deluge systems as well as backflow and minimum knowledge of fire pumps. And have the knowledge to troubleshoot these systems
• Proficient in NFPA 13, 20 & 24 code requirements
• Ability to use trade appropriate tools to perform daily pipe fitting duties efficiently and safety
• Ability to train others to use trade appropriate tools efficiently and safely
• Have minimum skills to operate a basic service platform
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Sprinkler Service / Inspections setting
• Clear background and must be able to pass a hair follicle
