Job summary

Jet Industries Inc. is seeking a skilled installer to layout and test fire sprinkler systems. You will read blueprints, measure, cut and thread pipe, and connect fittings with safety-first practices to ensure leak-free operation.

Ideal candidates have strong tool knowledge, ability to follow instructions, and attention to detail. The role requires basic English for safety communication; experience with CPVC/steel piping is a plus and on-site teamwork is essential at our Phoenix operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of tools.
• CR-16 preferred.
• High level of precision workmanship.
• Willingness to learn about fire sprinkler systems and codes.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Ability to understand blueprints, stock lists, and inventory.
• Excellent judgment and analysis skills.
• Must be highly organized, systematic, and adhere to deadlines.
• Steel experience, cutting, threading, and grooving black steel pipe.
• CPVC experience, cutting, reaming, welding, and hanging CPVC pipe.
• Access to check work email during hours (company provides $10 data stipend).
• Basic Proficiency in English required for safety and on-site communication.

Responsibilities

• Layout product for installation, stage tools, and execute basic piping installation jobs.
• Read and understand fire sprinkler blueprints
• Employ safety measures while installing a fire safety system
• Perform tasks, measuring, marking, cutting, and threading pipe for installation
• Connect fittings and sprinkler heads to the pipe, then test the system for leaks
• Keep abreast with NFPA fire sprinkler codes and developments
• Document all details of the work
