Job summary

Century Fire Protection LLC is seeking a field installer to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping and sprinkler systems in Duluth, GA. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years of related experience.

A pre-employment drug screen and a clean MVR are required; overtime may be necessary. Responsibilities include installing fittings and sprinklers per plans, completing weekly CFP paperwork, and communicating changes with designers and managers.

• Install pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design and codes.
• Complete weekly paperwork for CFP and job-specific reports.
• Communicate with designer on design changes and material shortages.
• Produce red-line drawings for designer; coordinate project and schedule changes.
• Attend project and coordination meetings; submit daily progress reports.
• Document and report incidents immediately; train Fitters and Helpers on installation techniques.

Summary

Responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
• Completion of all required weekly paperwork for CFP and as directed by the General Contractor for the job to which crew is assigned.
• Communicating with designer before making any design changes.
• Communicates with designer regarding any material shortages.
• Producing red-line drawings to turn in to designer.
• Communicating project and schedule changes to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Attending project and coordination meetings as required.
• Completion and submission of daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and General Contactor as required.
• Documenting and reporting water damage, injuries, and/or accidents to Field Superintendent and General Manager immediately when an incident occurs.
• Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years related experience and/or training.

Computer Skills

Basic computer skills, email.

Other Requirements

Pre-employment drug screen, Clean MVR required; overtime may be required.
