Job summary

Metro Fire and Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install various fire protection systems in Gilbert, Arizona. The role involves laying out and assembling pipe systems, testing for leaks, and performing inspections as per NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years prior work experience in construction.
• Ability to perform National Fire Protection Association inspections.
• Ability to carry and move tools and equipment up to 50-70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install all types of fire-protecting systems, including pipe systems and valves.
• Test piping systems for leaks and read gauges.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and related machines.

Skills

Ability to read and understand blueprints/design drawings

High precision/detail-oriented

Knowledge of fire systems and tools

Excellent judgement and analysis skills
