Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Sprinkler Fitter to install and test fire suppression equipment according to designed plans. You will work under supervision and may lead helpers on site.

Required: one year of pipefitting experience for fire sprinkler systems, ability to read plans, and valid driver's license; must pass background checks. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

• Desirable: experience in construction, plumbing, or fire protection industry.

Responsibilities

• Install and test fire suppression equipment per designed plans and communicate needed design changes to fit site requirements under supervision.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per company policies.
• Responsible for materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication, communication with Field Supervisors and owners.
• Direct, inspect, and verify the work of assigned helpers and apprentices to meet deadlines.
