Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Jacksonville, FL seeks a motivated installer helper to assist with wet, dry, pre‑action and deluge fire protection piping installations for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities include laying out pipe, connecting components, attaching sprinkler heads, and communicating hazards to the foreman while keeping the work area clean and compliant with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
