Job summary

gpac is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer/Estimator to join a well-established fire protection contractor. You will design detailed sprinkler layouts and produce accurate estimates for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects from bid to execution.

You will collaborate with project managers, field teams, GCs, and AHJs to ensure code compliance, profitability, and efficient project delivery. The role offers growth opportunities and a stable team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fire sprinkler design and/or estimating
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards and local codes
• Ability to read construction drawings
• NICET certification preferred

• Perform hydraulic calculations
• Complete material take-offs and labor estimates
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages

We are partnering with a well-established and growing fire protection contractor seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer / Estimator to join their team. This is a high-impact role for someone who can both design systems and accurately estimate projects from bid through execution.

Position Overview

The Designer / Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed sprinkler system layouts and producing accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects. This individual will work closely with project managers, field teams, GCs, and AHJs to ensure projects are code-compliant, profitable, and executed efficiently.
