Job summary

Dalmatian Fire, Inc. seeks a Fire Sprinkler Designer to design Fire Protection Systems for various projects. You will design layouts using AutoCAD/HydraCAD and create hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for pre-fabrication.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Fire protection design experience preferred.
• NICET certification preferred; AutoCAD/Revit/HydraCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of fire sprinkler systems.
• Read, analyze and interpret contract drawings and specs.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for pre-fabrication.
• Provide BIM modeling and field surveying support.
• Coordinate between trades and develop fabrication lists.
