Position Summary:

Seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer with 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design, construction drafting, or a related field. This role is responsible for conducting field surveys, preparing design drawings, coordinating with contractors and other trades, generating material lists, and assembling permit and submittal packages.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
  • Create and modify design drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
  • Coordinate project requirements with contractors, customers, and other trades.
  • Generate fabrication drawings and material lists.
  • Prepare submittal packages and permit documentation.
  • Work closely with sales staff and field technicians throughout project execution.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of fire sprinkler design, CAD drafting, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and follow directions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fire sprinkler or fire alarm industry experience.
  • Experience with AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, and/or HASS.
  • Construction, engineering, architecture, or related educational background.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
