Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our on-site team.

The role focuses on developing fire sprinkler designs, performing hydraulic calculations, and producing supporting documentation for complex projects. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with preferred NICET certification and prior fire sprinkler design experience.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes building plans and project specifications to identify design requirements.
• Confirms design criteria needed for the design (hazard).
• Performs hydraulic analysis and calculations to complete design.
• Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data.
• Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools.

We are currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Fire Sprinkler Designer. This role is an on-site position based out of Concord, NC location.

Responsibilities

• Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks.
• Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.
• Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design.
• Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements.
• Confirms the design criteria (hazard) required for the design.
• Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design.
• Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data.
• Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Engineering design experience & certification preferred.
• Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred.
• NICET Certification Preferred.

Pay Range

- $4,500.00 - $11,275.00
- Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
- This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
- Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
