Job summary

Code Consultants, Inc. (CCI) in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and New York offers an hourly paid internship in fire protection design.

You will design fire sprinkler systems for multiple projects, assist with concept development, collaborate with the design team and officials, and participate in shop drawing reviews and construction administration. Qualifications

Role

• Designing fire sprinkler systems for multiple projects, involving concept development, design documents, coordinating with design team and officials, shop drawing review, construction administration, etc.
• Collaborating with CCI team members and clients, and interfacing with Building/Fire Officials
• Providing support to project managers

Qualifications

• A degree in Architectural, Civil, Engineering Management, Fire Protection, or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Ability to solve technical and functional problems utilizing critical thinking, thorough research, and open communication
• Good organizational and communication skills; be capable of understanding client needs; prioritizing and coordinating work; making informed decisions; and executing quality work
