Job summary

Wiginton Fire Systems in West Palm Beach is seeking motivated individuals to train as Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians and installers. This apprenticeship path offers hands-on learning under experienced technicians.

You will gain skills in service, repair, and installation of fire sprinkler systems while preparing for certifications. As a Trainee/Apprentice, you will be mentored, participate in on-site service calls, develop troubleshooting capabilities, and learn proper documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors, able to lift 50 pounds.
• Pass background screening.
• Willingness to enroll in apprenticeship and obtain state/national certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site service calls and learn to service, repair, and install fire sprinkler systems.

Wiginton Fire Systems, a leader in fire protection, is seeking motivated individuals to train as Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians and installers in our West Palm Beach location.

Are you mechanically inclined and eager to learn a valuable trade? Join our team as a Trainee/Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Service Technician and grow your skills in the fire protection industry. You'll be mentored by experienced technicians as you learn to service, repair, and install fire sprinkler systems and other vital fire protection equipment. Responsibilities include assisting with on-site service calls, developing troubleshooting abilities, and learning proper documentation procedures.

Requirements:

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
• License:Valid driver's license.
• Physical Requirements:Comfortable working at heights, working outside, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Background Check:Ability to pass a background screening.
• Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and installation procedures.
• Problem-solving:Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Customer Service:Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Certifications:Willingness to go through apprenticeship school as well as state or national certifications.
