Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a trainee helper to learn sprinkler system installation under close guidance. You may assist with site cleanup, unloading, staging, pipe cutting and threading, and help test systems with a sprinkler fitter.

Continued employment depends on obtaining state licenses; the role offers apprenticeship paths, training reimbursements, weekly pay, benefits, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Follow verbal work instructions/directions.
• Capable of working independently and completing duties with moderate supervision.
• Demonstrate the initiative to learn skills of the trade.
• Ability to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
• Ability to perform physical activities per requirements checklist.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Fitter to complete tasks on site in a timely, effective manner.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Maintain vehicle in accordance with procedures and keep it clean.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Fitter and Manager.
