Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This program pairs you with a qualified technician for on-the-job training, classroom instruction and vendor-led learning to develop into a Fire Sprinkler Technician.

You will assist with service calls, testing and inspections of sprinkler systems, identify code non-conformances, and gain certifications through our progressive training program.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in fire protection preferred.
• Experience with related trades (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls, testing and inspections of sprinkler systems to prescribed standards.
• Perform on-site emergency repairs of customer sprinkler systems.
• Identify non-conformances to code and coordinate with technicians for corrective actions.

Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. This position provides valuable work experience by working alongside a technician in the service, inspection and repair of sprinkler systems. Our progressive training approach combines on the job training, online and classroom instruction. This candidate will be paired with a qualified technician to provide on the job training. Cintas partners with outside vendors to provide additional instruction. Our progressive training program will provide the tools and certifications to convert to a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician, wherein the job duties will include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency repairs of our customer’s sprinkler systems and identifying non-conformances to code.

Skills/Qualifications
