Fire sprinkler apprentices assist senior technicians in the installation and service of fire sprinkler systems, while receiving on the job training.

The role offers hands-on learning, teamwork with experienced technicians, and exposure to a full range of fire protection activities across projects.

Qualifications

• Fire sprinkler apprentice role involves learning installation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems: handle tools and equipment under supervision, measure, cut, and thread pipes, assist in assembly and installation of pipes, valves, and fittings, support mounting and positioning of sprinkler heads.
• Collaborate with installation team: work closely with senior technicians, follow instructions, communicate with team members to coordinate tasks.
• Conduct pre-installation preparations: review blueprints, prepare work area, gather tools and materials.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations: wear PPE, comply with codes, report safety concerns.
• Learn and develop technical skills: participate in training and workshops, learn different sprinkler system types, seek guidance from seniors.
• Other duties as assigned.
