The Connecticut Fire Academy, operated by the State of Connecticut, is hiring per diem Fire Service Instructors at the Connecticut Fire Academy in Windsor Locks, CT. Instructors are credentialed by subject matter expertise and must work a minimum of 100 hours per calendar year to support fire training and certification across programs.

Qualified applicants bring fire safety experience and the ability to adapt curricula, maintain records, and participate in statewide training opportunities.

Formación

• Three (3) years of experience in the field of fire safety.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing for and conducting fire service training from prepared curriculum.
• Adapts course content and curricula and prepares lesson plans to meet specific training needs.
• Maintains student records; prepares evaluation reports; and maintains tools and equipment used in training.
