Job summary

VSC Fire and Security in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Project Manager to lead sprinkler and integrated system projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with sales/design, ensuring regulatory compliance, scheduling, and managing budgets with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in project management in sprinkler or integrated systems.
• Attention to compliance with all company, local, state and federal regulations including NFPA and building/safety codes.
• Ability to schedule projects in logical steps to meet budgets and deadlines for subcontractors.
• Collaborate with sales and design teams on project specs, manpower needs, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Work with estimators and designers to gather information for sprinkler system drawings and material schedules; coordinate fabrication quotes and delivery dates.
• Maintain risk management and safety procedures on all job sites.
• Monitor and document project communications (ASIs, RFIs, change orders, subcontracts) while tracking budget to maximize profit.
