Job summary

Ideal candidates will hold a High School Diploma with industry credentials, Firefighter II and CPR/First Aid certifications. Experience with HS students and strong communication are valued; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Industry Credentials Required
• Firefighter II Certification Required
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Required
• First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification Preferred
• EMR Certification Preferred
• (Other industry certifications/licenses will be considered)

Responsibilities

• Act as a delegated instructor teaching classroom, lab or clinical skills under the instructor's direction
• Attend communications meetings with instructors
• Assist with maintenance of task lists
• Assist with daily classroom supervision of students
• Record daily class attendance and maintain student files
• Organize class field trips and job shadow schedule; chaperone as needed
• Assist with inventory control and supply requisition
• Participate on the Advisory Committee
• Perform other duties as assigned by administration or instructor
• Valid driver’s license required
• Fire Instructor 1 or willingness to obtain preferred
