Management & Training Corporation (MTC) at the Bay Correctional Facility in Panama City, FL, seeks a dedicated professional to lead the facility's fire and safety program. The role reports to the deputy warden, focusing on ACA standards, safety training, and risk management across the site.

The incumbent will conduct inspections, manage records, generate reports, and coordinate with local authorities to ensure up-to-date fire protection and safety procedures, while supporting staff and inmates

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in risk management or a related field (e.g., loss control, workers’ compensation, occupational safety or industrial hygiene).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility fire and safety program in compliance with ACA standards, MTC, and FDOC directives.
• Manage safety, environmental health, risk management, workers’ compensation, and ACA accreditation records.
• Prepare evaluative reports and recommend improvements to resolve problems.
• Ensure fire protection services are provided and available to the facility.
• Conduct regular fire inspections and testing of equipment; arrange annual inspections by officials.
