Job summary

The Air National Guard Units seeks an experienced Fire Protection Specialist (Title 5) in Oklahoma City to lead and manage a comprehensive fire training program for all base functional areas. You will develop, implement, and evaluate training, safety, and hazardous materials handling initiatives in alignment with Air Force directives.

Responsibilities include planning monthly and annual training, supervising staff, and ensuring up-to-date materials per IFSTA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must possess DoD, IFSAC, or Pro-Board certifications including Airport Firefighter, Firefighter I & II, Fire Instructor II, Fire Inspector II, and Fire Officer III; Fire Instructor III within 12 months if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages a comprehensive training program for base Fire Protection Flight.
• Plans, implements, reviews, and evaluates fire prevention and safety training; assesses program effectiveness.
