Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Project Engineer in Madison, WI to lead the design of fire protection systems for complex facilities and guide project teams to deliver reliable, energy-conscious solutions.

You will utilize Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks, collaborate with clients and partners, and drive technical excellence from concept through construction while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience designing fire suppression systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Fire Alarm experience is a plus.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

Within this position, you will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner’s needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions.

Expertise of our most successful Senior Fire Protection Project Engineer:

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).


• 10+ years of experience designing fire suppression systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.


• Fire Alarm experience is a plus


• Professional engineering registration preferred.


• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
