Job summary

Western States Fire Protection is seeking a Project Manager and Designer in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves designing fire sprinkler systems for various types of buildings and overseeing the construction projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a Construction Management degree and NICET certification, along with experience in the Fire Protection industry. Strong skills in AutoCAD and analytical thinking are crucial for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Construction Management degree or applicable other degree from a technical school or college.
• NICET certification required. Either 'In Training', or NICET Level I, II, III, or IV certified.
• Three years successful construction industry experience with knowledge of Fire Protection industry.

Responsibilities

• Review construction contract documents and coordinate with sub-contractors to design the project’s sprinkler system.
• Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or HydraCAD type programs.
• Monitor and manage projects for safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
