Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Operations Manager to lead protective systems projects in Cullman, AL or Birmingham, AL. You will direct multi-discipline teams, coordinate design and planning, and ensure safety codes are met across facilities.

Qualified candidates bring extensive fire protection experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and HydraCAD. Travel and a valid driver's license are required; NICET certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or related field.
• Minimum of 11 years of fire protection experience and 8 years of project management experience.
• Expert knowledge of the fire protection industry and NFPA/OSHA standards.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, HydraCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Strong leadership, client management, and project accounting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and coordinate fire protection system projects from assessment through design.
• Lead and motivate a high-performing technical team to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Manage project budgets, scope, and schedules to ensure successful outcomes.
• Engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to meet and exceed requirements.
