Job summary

Markent Personnel is assisting an established, independently owned MEP engineering firm in the Boston area in finding a Senior Fire Protection Engineer. You will run your own projects from design through construction administration and work directly with clients.

The firm values depth in suppression and alarm design and will train the right engineer who may not yet have data center experience. The role is hybrid (3 days in office) in the Boston area.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of fire protection design experience at a consulting engineering firm.
• Depth in suppression and alarm design.
• Data center experience is a plus; the firm is willing to train.

Breaking into data center work usually requires data center experience you do not have yet. Our client is willing to train the right engineer, which makes this a rare opportunity.

Our client is an established, independently owned MEP engineering firm with a dedicated fire protection group and a busy data center practice. The department head has been with the firm for decades. The pipeline is deep and the firm is stable.

This position is hybrid (3 days in office), based in the Boston area.
