The Department of the Navy at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Fire Protection Specialist to oversee fire and emergency services programs, evaluate firefighting techniques, and ensure compliance with safety codes.

Requires at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level and certifications including Fire Officer III, Fire Instructor III, and Fire Inspector II, with related duties in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating programs.

Competenze

• At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-11 level in Federal sector or equivalent in private/public sector.
• Managing a Fire & Emergency Services program.
• Providing advice and recommendations concerning fire protection/prevention; planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating fire and emergency services programs.
• Administering a fire and emergency services budget.
• Reviewing reports, records, codes, and procedures to suggest improvements to firefighting techniques or policies.
