Job Description

We’re looking for an entry-level Fire Protection Designer who is passionate about his or her craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. The role is based in our Honolulu office.

The responsibilities include supporting the design of fire protection systems, drafting fire protection drawings, and working in a multidisciplinary team. You will assist with project coordination, AutoCAD drafting, and modeling using Revit MEP.

Coffman supports certification through NICET and provides continuing education via national trade associations (AFAA).

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in CAD or two years working experience using CAD


• Proficiency with working in AutoCAD


• Knowledge in Revit MEP (preferred)


• Work experience in drafting electrical or mechanical systems (preferred)


• Good written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work on a high-functioning team

Expected annual salary of $65,000 - $85,000.
