Job summary

Total Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer in Colorado. This full-time role involves designing fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with codes, and providing technical assistance to various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, NICET III certification, and experience with BIM projects and HydraCAD. We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 and comprehensive health coverage, including insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

Design fire suppression systems.
Prepare 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using HydraCAD.
Coordinate design efforts working closely with customers, general contractors, and architects.
Evaluate contractors' performance in meeting agency requirements and objectives.
Interpret existing standards and develop new standards.
Review design documentation and advise agency and contractor management regarding fire safety.
Provide technical advice to contractors, architects, and engineers while reviewing system plans.
Monitor code information and conduct site inspections for new construction projects.
Supervise professional-level staff engaged in fire prevention duties.
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and streamline work processes.
