Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Suppression Service Apprentice to learn the fire protection trade in the field alongside Journeyman technicians. You will assist with inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of fire suppression systems while gaining hands-on experience.

You will receive mentorship, paid training, and support to pursue state licenses or certifications. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a long-term career in life safety and construction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required to register in apprenticeship programs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in learning a technical trade.
• Ability to take direction and follow through without constant supervision.
• Willingness to pursue state required licenses or certifications for your location.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a Journeyman technician on active service and repair jobs.
• Assist with inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of fire suppression systems.
• Follow instructions carefully and complete assigned tasks safely and on time.
• Help maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to be clean and organized.
• Interact with customers, contractors, and team members in a professional manner.
• Participate in training programs to earn state-required licenses or certifications.
