Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Emergency Management Leader to oversee the site’s Disaster Prevention Center, Fire Brigade, and Medical 1st Responder programs in Holland, MI.

You will develop fire and life safety policies, manage a safety team, track KPIs, and administer the budget while ensuring compliance with Department of Homeland Security, OSHA, and state regulations. Collaboration with local agencies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• IS-5.A through IS-700 training or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Must pass firefighter physical and meet certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Disaster Prevention Center, Fire Brigade, and Medical 1st Responder programs.
• Develop and track KPIs for safety teams.
• Develop and manage the safety/EMS budget.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports and career development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Coordinate fire prevention activities with internal teams and external partners.
• Lead emergency response planning, drills, and incident investigations.
