Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking an Inspector to evaluate and test fire sprinkler systems, backflow prevention assemblies, and fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes and local regulations. The role includes implementing risk management and safety practices on every project site.

The successful candidate will bring 2–3 years of inspection experience, hold state licensure, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in inspections of fire sprinklers and integrated systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test the installation and service of fire sprinkler systems, backflow prevention assemblies, and fire alarm systems per NFPA-25 & 72 and other applicable codes.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
