Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a route sales & service apprentice technician in Michigan to begin a career in fire protection and life safety. You will learn inspection, installation, testing, service, and repairs on fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and related products while building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates are sales oriented, customer focused, and comfortable with heights and varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, and repair fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and general life safety products
• Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of life safety equipment
• Record and document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and relay information to appropriate personnel
• Learn to recharge extinguishers and stock trucks with parts and tools
• Maintain equipment and tools to perform job safely
• Evaluate customer sites for additional equipment and services
• Work in compliance with the Company's safety program
• Occasionally work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
