Job summary

BOSCH Building Technologies LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm / Life Safety Applications Engineer to support sales and operations in a fast-paced environment in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires strong technical experience with fire alarm systems, customer interaction, and coordination with sales for estimates and project quotes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of field technical or design experience, plus proficiency with Blue Beam and Adobe.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience with field technical or system design experience.
2+ years of Fire Alarm Systems experience.
Blue Beam/Adobe experience.
Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Good driving record.

Responsibilities

Design/Build projects to meet code and/or customer requirements or otherwise as directed.
Take-Offs of Engineered Projects.
Technical review of Engineered Projects for compliance and informing Sales of deviations.
Preparation of equipment cost estimates and quotes using quoting tools.
Communicate with Sales to align requirements and workload.
Lead responsibility on local code interpretations and amendments.
Provide input to sales/operations on estimating, timing, and resources.
Support field personnel, engineering and sales with design/installation/commissioning questions.
Assist AutoCAD drawers in preparation of drawings.
