Job summary

Mission Fire Sprinkler is seeking inspectors to inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows under minimal supervision. You will work to NFPA codes, document deficiencies, and communicate with customers and utilities in a professional manner.

The team emphasizes accuracy, timely inspections, and reliable on-call support to respond to emergency service requests. Prior experience is helpful; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes.
  • Record and report deficiencies to Customers and Utilities.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers professionally.
  • Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the inspection.
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled.
  • Required to be in an on-call status as required by location to handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes and related equipment.
  • Record and report deficiencies to Customers and Utilities in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Operate inspection tools correctly and safely.
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled.
  • Be available on-call to respond to emergency service requests.

Job description

Inspectors are responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision.

  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes with working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices and critical components.
  • Record and report deficiencies of fire protection systems to Customers and Utilities.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the inspection.
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Required to be in an on-call status as required by location to handle emergency service and inspection requests
