Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a field technician based out of the Williston, Vermont district office. The role involves inspecting, selling and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including extinguishers and emergency lighting in a professional and timely manner.

The ideal candidate will manage service calls efficiently, learn applicable codes, comply with safety procedures, and maintain a clean vehicle. Relocation assistance and a $3,000 sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Experience selling and servicing fire suppression components is a plus.
• Ability to learn inspection and servicing codes.
• Ability to learn general electrical safety procedures.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Criminal background check and drug test required.
• Strong work ethic and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage time to maximize service calls with high quality.
• Meet or exceed weekly productivity goals set by the Branch Manager.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain required licensing/certifications.
• Work safely per company safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Keep vehicle clean and organized and maintain records of service calls.

Job description

This position reports to the Branch Manager.In this role you will be responsible for providing inspections, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner.You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/her-self, co-workers and customers.

Will report out of Williston, VT District Office. Ideal Candidate will be in Central VT area.

Position is based out of our Williston, Vermont district office.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage their time to complete the maximum amount of service calls while maintaining a high level of quality
• Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Branch Manager
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain any licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
• Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies
• Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized

Qualifications include:

• Experience selling and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, emergency lights and other fire products is a plus.
• The ability to learn applicable inspection and servicing codes
• The ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures
• A valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record
• Satisfactory results in a company mandated criminal background check and drug test
• A strong work ethic and professional appearance
