Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician for its Fire Protection business. You will service, repair, and maintain portable fire equipment and emergency exit lighting for an established customer base after training. The role includes testing, inspections, and identifying code or non-conformance issues.

Occasional involvement in selling and promoting additional products and services supports company growth. This is a full-time position based in Lenexa, KS, with standard first shift hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; fire licenses may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain portable fire equipment and emergency exit lighting for assigned customers.
• Perform systems testing and inspections to identify code and non-conformance issues.
• Promote and sell additional products and services to customers.
