• Alert stations and dispatch apparatus using approved plans
• Monitor radio channels and unit status
• Relay information about occupants and changing conditions
• Request additional resources through dispatch procedures
• Coordinate mutual-aid communications when assigned
• Record dispatch times and significant updates
