Job summary

iCIMS, Inc. is seeking a Fire Captain to oversee fire suppression and prevention activities in California. Candidates must have a strong background in firefighting with five years of experience and relevant certifications, including Firefighter 1 and EMT B.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Business or Public Administration is preferred.
  • Five years of firefighting safety and risk management experience.
  • Must complete Chumash Fire Department Structure Firefighter Task Book within one year.

Responsibilities

  • Drive fire engine and transport personnel to emergencies.
  • Respond to fire emergencies and take incident command as needed.
  • Train and develop team members in firefighting techniques.
  • Conduct inspections for fire prevention and compliance.
