Qualifications

• Experience in automotive painting and surface prep.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fire apparatus bodies and components for paint applications.
• Apply primers, sealers, base coats, and clear coats.
• Wet sand, buff, and correct paint defects to high quality.
• Inspect painted surfaces for runs, dirt, orange peel, and adhesion issues.
• Maintain paint booth systems, bake cycles, and safety equipment.
• Follow coating sequences and flash times to ensure finish durability.
