Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Able to read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple departments.
• Read shop orders and identify parts for assembly.
• Strict adherence to safety policies and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and adjust parts using end wrenches, power drills, power drives, sander and other hand tools.
• Learn to assemble accessories and options to the apparatus with minimal scrap or rework.
• Drill holes for attachments and perform grinding with grinders and belt sander.
• Read shop orders for specific options and identify different parts on units.
• Install catwalks, steps, grab handles, and compartment filters and running boards.
• Keep track of parts used on each truck and operate hydraulic lifts.
• Assist with electrical daily functions and platform or ladder installations.
