Job summary

Mysmarthire seeks a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install and support commercial systems in Tennessee. You need a high school diploma or GED with a two-year technical credential or relevant work experience, plus NICET certification in fire alarm systems and a valid TN driver’s license.

Fire Alarm Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED with two year technical degree/certificate or acceptable work experience, and a NICET certification in fire alarm systems.
• Possess and maintain a valid TN Driver's
• Minimum often (10) years commercial experience installing and supporting: o Fire alarm systems
• Burglar alarm systems
• Customer oriented technical support Knowledge, skills, and abilities required including but not limited to:
  • Firelite, Gamewell, Edwards, EST, Silent Knight

• Prefer certification with Firelite, Silent Knight, and NICETLevel l
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to the trade.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and complex wiring
• Ability to work at different heights using ladders and aerial
• Ability to push, pull, climb, crawl, and/or lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to bend and install electrical conduit and all other related components in a neat fashion.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities and work on a flexible
• Ability to be on-call for afterhours
• Possess strong verbal, written, and technical
• Meets all health, physical and background check
• Physically able to perform ALL work tasks
