Job summary

Midwest Protection Services (MPS) in Omaha, NE, is hiring a Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, and service commercial fire alarm systems. You will coordinate labor on the jobsite, work with other trades, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

Qualified applicants have experience with low voltage wiring, hand and power tools, and preventative maintenance; Nebraska electrical licenses or equivalents are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Commercial fire alarm installation experience is required.
• Experience with security and access control systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools preferred.
• Ability to handle physical workload and work on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and service fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
• Coordinate labor, other trades, and materials on site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems.
• Monitor inventory of service parts.
