Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking skilled technicians to independently install fire alarm systems across commercial and residential settings in Texas. You will read blueprints, perform testing, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) with at least 1 year of experience. NICET preferred. A clean driving record is required if driving is involved, and company benefits are provided.

Competenze

• Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with fire alarm systems.
• NICET certification preferred (requires prior experience or training).
• Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, installation practices, and applicable codes.
• Experience with commercial and residential systems.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Mansioni

• Independently install fire alarm systems in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Complete standard installation projects without direct supervision.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform system testing and basic troubleshooting.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete installations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with team members, contractors, and project stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
• Train and support entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
