Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems including devices, control panels, and power supplies.
• Perform inspections and maintenance per NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and device malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and specs.
• Coordinate with monitoring companies and notify occupants during testing.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, service calls, and installations.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Provide training to junior technicians as needed.
• May require after-hours or on-call work.
