Job summary

Fire Fighter Sales & Service Co. is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician - Level 2 in Warrendale, PA to install, inspect, test, and repair fire alarm and life-safety systems.

You will work both independently and with a team, ensuring NFPA compliance and high-quality workmanship, with on-call duties and safety above all. The role requires NICET II and Notifier license within specified timelines, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must obtain NICET Level II certification in testing and inspection within one year of hire.
• Ohio Fire Marshal License preferred at hire but required within one year of employment.
• Must obtain a Notifier programming license within six months of entering this role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform testing and inspections on fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems per NFPA standards.
• Interact with customers to identify and resolve system issues professionally and timely.
• Submit all required reports and documentation to ensure NFPA compliance.
• Participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call schedule when able to work independently.
• Maintain timesheets, billing notes, and follow-up documentation to support project costing.
