Eagle Fire Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician II to install, program, inspect, test and repair fire detection and signaling systems.

This mid-level role requires NICET Level II certification (or ability to obtain) and the ability to work independently on routine service calls under guidance from a senior technician. Responsibilities include on-schedule installation, testing, and service work; coordinating inspections with customers; documenting for records and AHJ; and supporting larger

Qualifications

• Able to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds, work from heights above 10 feet, and work in confined areas
• Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
• Able to drive a vehicle
• Able to travel and stay out of town as needed
• Able to work in extremely cold and extremely hot temperatures
• Able to work while exposed to loud sounds and noise levels

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, programming, repair, testing, and inspection of fire detection and signaling systems on a scheduled basis.
• Executes routine and moderately complex service work with minimal supervision.
• Assists senior technicians (Tech III) on larger or more complex projects and system troubleshooting.
• Ensures all services are performed in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable codes/standards (NFPA, local AHJ), and Company policies and procedures.
• Schedules and coordinates inspections with customers as required.
• Provides all necessary documentation for Company records, customer records, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
• Communicates system discrepancies, recommended repairs, and service needs to customers and internal teams.
• Follows up to ensure that recommended repairs and corrective actions are completed.
