Job summary

IES in Omaha, NE seeks a Technician II - Life Safety to install, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems. You will respond to service calls, document work, and coordinate with dispatch for status updates. Participation in after-hours service and installation support during downtime are expected.

Minimum five years in the fire alarm industry, high school diploma or GED, with strong computer literacy and ability to read blueprints. Associates degree preferred; NICET/CSA beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must possess critical thinking skills and be able to read, write, and provide oral presentations.
• Work history must include five (5) years in the fire alarm industry.
• NICET Certification or CSA is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to quality, safety standards, and regulations.
• Manage time effectively in scheduling and performing service calls.
• Troubleshooting and repair/replacement of system wiring and components.
• Provide legendary customer support and training.
